Young people and the challenge of “doing business”
The youth entrepreneurship and the new ideas in enterprises are the topics of the open day organized by Thessaloniki-European Youth Capital 2014 in cooperation with the magazine RouaMat.com and the Municipality of Thessaloniki. The open day, with the title “The Young aspect of doing business” will take place on Wednesday 7th May 2014 (12:00-20:00) at the City Hall of Thessaloniki (city council hall).
Announcements and talks on “Ups and downs of entrepreneurship” will take place during the event. Young businessmen and representatives of public and private organizations that relate to entrepreneurship will take part in the talks. Konstantinos Mouratis (journalist-responsible for the event) will be the coordinator.
The open day has got three basic aims: First of all to give a realistic image of “doing business” for the young people today, the kind of ideas that they can pursue, and also the difficult and easy factors of this proceeding.
Secondly to inform the participants on the organizations and media that exist and a reavailable by the Private and Public sector and the way that they can be utilized or obtained.
Also to offer some training with “The Entrepreneurial Experience” workshop, that aims to the short and concise experience for these projects.
Through these talks and workshop, young people will have the chance to realize that the professional career is not always neither difficult nor easy, that they are not on their own at their starting point, that there are tools to utilize and the most basic of all, that they have to enjoy the road and use everything that they learn during this “journey”.
